When worn as a HUD, this device can scan the area around you to assist in finding misplaced items. It can also be set to scan for avatars.
You set the scanning angle with a click on the words in the middle, and then scan by clicking on the colored band. The scanner returns the exact location of the nearest 16 items, along with their names, descriptions, and owner's name.
Just walk around and use it like a metal detector to find hidden treasures.
The design doesn't block your view much, so it is still easy to move around.
