.The door can be linked to any build, or left free standing.
The door script is a VERY smooth door action script made by Toy Wylie and is open source and MUST be left full mod/copy/trans. It can be modified to work without the lock script and given to anyone.
The lock script is my own work, and is copy/trans, so it can be added to any door that you make. Please do not sell the script on its own, it can be sold as part of any building that you make.
to put this script in a door, you need the smooth door script, the lock script, and the UserData notecard.
Only the owner, or a person on the admin list can add people to or remove people from the admin list or access list.
TO DO THIS

Touch the door and say /17 access
A drop down menu will appear, press the button to add or remove to the lists, or to display the lists.
follow the instructions that will appear in the chat window.
When you have finished, press the FINISHED button to return the door to normal operation.
if the menu fails to appear, or you accidentally close the menu, touching the door will bring the menu back.
Adding names to the UserData notecard will add those names to the access or admin lists, and will automatically reset the lock script.
This will clear all access and admin names that are not on the notecard.

the lock script sends a link message to only the prim it is in, this can be used to activate any script that will operate by receiving a blank link message, with the num 225.
