ive flown it several times since purchasing yesterday and i cannot make it turn, and the engine always stops in mid-air for no reason after about a minute or two of flying. i will appreciate if creator or someone would let me know if i am doing something wrong to cause this, and if these issues can be fixed i would give 5 star because its really small, cute and low prim plane, i like it very much except that only being able to fly in a straight line, and the engine stopping for no reason after a couple minutes flight, those are big problems.

This plane is a real low-profile sleeper. It is brilliantly designed and scripted. A pure joy to fly. And virtually bulletproof on sim crossings. You tend to be wary of "single plane" products. But this puppy is a real showstopper. I have all the best-of-the-best-of-the-best in my Inventory. But this guy, for racing, for aerobatics, or just cruising the landscape, won my heart! The ability, not only to adjust seating, but also to flawlessly resize for a perfect fit is pretty extraordinary stuff, rarely-rarely, if ever seen as a feature even in the most expensive aircraft. On top of that, it is truly COPY-MOD. Surfaces are extremely clean, and lend themselves to accepting custom liveries with ease. Easily worth twice the money. And cute as a button. Well done Jack. Just---well done!

I have been in SL a long time and have flown at least 100 different planes including every aerobatic plane ever sold in SL. This is one of the best and most fun airplanes in SL. The creator is a scripting genius.

This plane is fast and is without question the best sim crosser in SL and has extreme aerobatic abilities. This plane is able to cross sim lines at 88m/s while doing extreme barrel rolls and other maneuvers without hesitation. I have never experienced anything even close to it in all my years in SL (7).

It has three flight modes respecting flight characteristics: slow-which is the equivalent of cruise; medium-which is the aerobatic mode; and quick-which is the extreme aerobatic mode and there is no aerobatic plane in SL with more extreme aerobatic abilities. It also has a functioning rudder which allows for a greater variety of aerobatic maneuvers. There is also an option to turn on physics that allows for such things as stalls.

Because of the three flight modes this plane is a good choice for the beginning pilot to the most advanced aerobatic pilot. At it's extreme its like riding a roller coaster and you can totally forget about sim lines -- this plane does not know what a sim line is. It's amazing!

It comes out of the box in a size that is a bit small for many avatars, but the creator has included a resizer script you can use to make it fit your AV.

There are only two criticisms I have of the plane: 1) There is no smoke trail. But, there is a great HUD available on The Marketplace that combines both a camera with totally unique views and awesome smoke trail abilities.The use of this HUD did not affect the awesome sim crossing abilities of the plane. If you search under Avatar Accessories> HUD Attachments and limit price range to 450 Ls you will find it.

My second criticism is that the creator did not include "a barrel full of monkeys" because that's the only thing that comes close in terms of fun:-)

the cassutt racer is the hybrid between the cricri and a classic acrobatic plane, it s friggin small but it s a nervous and really smooth plane to perform some aerial stunts, the low land impacts and the plane scripts will allow you to go through sim without any problem. if you want to take a friend of a "ride", they might enjoy the sit poses (dont forget to ask them to get some goggles and a warmscarf)

nota bene : I m 6'3 sl real size and i feel like almost too big for the plane. but if you re one of those 7'11 tall dont worry the plane comes with a resizer script.
