gaudy, garish, just truly awful
get out the ray-bans, if you wear this - to me, it looks as if the maker got a dress-kit and put in the most awful, basic colors - no textures at all, and truly horrible over-bright, garish, gaudy colors. Wouldnt be seen dead in this - I know its only L$50, but we've all bought better quality for less. It looks what it is - cheap'n'nasty. Binned it.
Pretty good, one suggestion/texture issue
Overall this is a nice dress for 50L. It fits my Maitreya well.
My one complaint is that on the black (I bought this dress to wear it in black) the highlighting on the texture on the lower half is a bit overdone. Every other color looks ok, but in the black, it sort of looks like there is a large gray stripe down the front (and back, to a lesser extent). If that highlighting were a little darker (or less wide, or both), I would give this five stars. As it is, it looks a bit odd in the black. Rezzed on the ground it looks fine, but once you actually WEAR it, and your legs move around in it, those light gray areas in the center become very noticeable and don't look right. It's not a great idea to put a highlight there, because then that area gets stretched and what should have been a small highlight becomes a huge discoloration on the dress.
Four stars because the other colors look nice. If the creator updates this dress and fixes the black, I'll change my review to 5 stars. To the creator- please darken up those highlights on the black dress! I really really wish the dress was mod so I could fix it myself, oh well.
