Bright Teleport HUD - Simple one-prim HUD to hold your landmarks & teleport you from chat, instantly!

* Simple, one-button HUD: just drop your landmarks over it to store them
* Say "/2 abc" to teleport using any landmark with "abc" in its name
* Offers menu of landmarks if more than one has "abc" in its name
* Keeps log of last 10 teleports: display links to teleport back to them
* Access landmarks by function key using this HUD with gestures

Drag the 'Bright Teleport HUD boxed' from your inventory onto the ground. Right-click the box, click 'Open', and click 'Copy To Inventory'. This creates a new folder: right-click the 'Bright Teleport HUD' object inside, and click 'Wear'. A button will appear on your screen.

To store your landmarks, drag them from your inventory and drop them on the button.

(NOTE: The HUD includes 30 landmarks to Bright Corporation sites: our Megashop, Adultshop, Sandbox, and 27 rental sites of various types. These are used in the examples below: when you have tried them, say '/2 delete all'. You can clear your HUD this way at any time.)

To teleport, say '/2 mega' (without the quotes). The HUD will find the landmark with 'mega' in its name - to the Bright Megashop in Mizar - and display a map. Click 'teleport' and you're there!

LANDMARK MENUS

If the HUD finds more than one landmark, it displays a menu. Say '/2 chalet' to see a list of our chalet rental sites:

Click [History] for your teleport history - it includes all teleports, not just those using the HUD:

TELEPORT BY FUNCTION KEY

Second Life supports 'gestures', which can chat and play sounds or animations when you press a function key or say a 'trigger' word.

Using a gesture linked to F2 which says '/2 megashop', and this HUD with the 'Bright Megashop' landmark, you can bring up a map to the Megashop any time just by pressing F2.

We've included a gesture which does this. Right-click 'Bright Megashop [F2]' in your inventory, click 'Activate', and press F2.

TIPS

* Keep landmark names short, meaningful, and as distinct as possible.

* If typing '/2 home' calls up landmarks 'My home' and "Shomewair Gadget shop", change 'My home' to 'My home!', and then use '/2 home!' to access it directly.

* If you have five sandbox landmarks, make sure they all have 'sandbox' in their names, so that by typing '/2 sandbox', you can display a menu of sandboxes to choose from. Similarly 'club', 'shoe shop'...
