Make an attached object bob, hover, float, move up and down with a smooth sine wave action that imitates floating/hovering.

NOTICE: The speed and smoothness of the movement will be affected by script lag on sims. (Hit ctrl + shift + 1 to see the "Scripts Run" percent in the sim you are in.) There is nothing I can do about how various sims choose to control their script time usage, so expect that, if you go to a sim with poor scripts run percent, your object will not move as fast or as smoothly as normal.
NOTICE: DO NOT USE TARGET OMEGA FOR SPINNING OBJECTS THAT ARE BEING MOVED. IT DOES NOT WORK WELL. I have found that the set link params prim position function, used to move the object, can cause issues when used in combination with target omega either stopping intermittently or completely. If you want an object to spin, as well as move, hover, bob, float, I recommend that you move the root with this script, and use set link params prim rotation, in the timer event handler, instead of prim omega.
