The Lightning light fighter is based on a Warhammer 40,000 Imperial fighter and is designed to be a fast, highly maneuverable dogfighting ship! With a multimode 360 degree flight system, CCC and VICE combat systems and physical bullets that also work against DCS and RCS and similar systems, plus a VICE missile pod, the Lightning is a superb air to air and air to ground attack ship! The high powered dedicated rocket system in the large aft thruster delivers a burst of intense speed to allow pilots to escape from dangerous situations in order to regroup and launch another assault - this makes the Lightning one of the fastest fighters in the sky.
With two wing mounted light machine guns and a missile pod that can take out heavily armoured targets, the Lightning makes a devastating air to ground hit and run precision bomberas well as being a versatile and maneuverable air-to-air fighter!
"Sucks harder than a black hole"
Looks great, flies like a brick with wings. With un intuitive controls, no gestures for missile launching and has a nasty habit of getting the pilot inside killed in any kind of rp meter before the plane goes down. Also no type of artificial horizon makes this a exercise in frustration to fly.
Still it "looks" great
