Love this.
Nexus is so amazing I love using this drone. you can really do great rps with it and take amazing pictures on sl.
Cute for roleplay
As expected, SL limitations mean this is not something to cross a sim with, in fact trying is a bit messy requiring you to detach the hud, the controller, and then pick up the drone still hovering safely at the sim border.
Nice mesh work, great sounds, and a fantastic RP interface make this look like you see the flickery vision of the camera, complete with battery indicator and red recording symbol, as you spy on your neighbor's home - the dog that keeps pooping on your lawn - or the drug deal going down behind the gas station.
Your screen gets a nice flickery monitor effect and is locked to your WASD/EC controls. Although the arrows work, the PgUp/Dn doesn't... but yeah WASD/EC to fly.
As you fly the drone tries to overtake your camera a little, so the mesh work of the camera unit intermittantly clips your view. It's not so bad, and doesn't ruin the effect of the great hud at all.
A good, solid product, although a little more expensive than the other contender, this has a clearly better RP-ability.
Fun and smooth!
It's fun and rides smoothly, but you have to stay on one sim which is kind of a bummer, but I guess realistic. Fun to use to scare people, or spy on people if that's your thing! I'd recommend.
