Unlike a real wind chime that moves, this chime is static and only does sounds. 1 star

Great idea, in theory

I hate giving a less-than-five-star review, but the are no other reviews, and also no way to hear this before purchase: The sounds are very consistently timed (it feels like listening to quarter notes) such that you don't get the feel of the chimes responding to natural, random variations in wind. I can't comment on what it would take to make this sound natural, but it does not create the effect implied, so unfortunately I can't recommend it. It's a bit spendy for there to be no place to listen and no video to review, so I would recommend the creator create one so people know what they're getting in advance. On the other hand, if this were updated to be 1. even a little quieter still or have volume control, and 2. more naturally vary in the note timing in response to the wind, it'd be a hit. I'd happily use it in that case. Perhaps the insertion of a silent note sometimes would help, at least, to space them out more naturally, and perhaps the introduction of a few that sound like two hits close together.
