A script to drop into a prim to quickly set hover text for it. Once placed into a prim, the script will listen for the prim's owner's comments in open chat. The prim will listen for the following commands:
title <color> <text>
done
When it hears "done", it will turn off its listener and delete itself from the prim to help reduce lag. Once a title has been set for a prim, it will stay until changed by another script so there is no reason to leave the script around adding to the sim's lag.
The title command has two parts. First is the color to use for the title text. The available colors are: black, white, gray, dark gray, red, dark red, green, dark green, blue, dark blue, cyan, dark cyan, yellow, dark yellow, purple, dark purple, and pink.
In the text, you can add n to break the title into multiple lines. This can be very handy for long titles, or logical breaks.
For example:
title green Buy a copy of this object!nPrice: L$500
that will appear above the prim as:
Buy a copy of this object
Price: L$500

Cannot be used for TP objects
I wanted to have a text in capitals hovering over a TP device. It works fine, until the TP got activated and then the custom hover text disappeared. As stated in the documentation of course ;-)
This is amazing. I love how the way it works is so simple; there are no dashes (/) or numbers to include in the command, and you don't have to edit the script itself. This is an amazing product. Thanx so much for making it a freebie too. And very smart having the script delete itself to save from lagg
Super-easy to use. Just drop it in your object, follow the directions, and you're done! I really love how the actual script deletes itself once the title's set. Brilliant.
