She replicated the experiment that gave The Flash her powers in her family's garage. She blew up the garage and ended up in the hospital. The Flash felt guilty for leaving notes that she could work on. After she came out of the hospital, shemanifested the powers she desired. The Flash reluctantly agreed to let her become Kid Flash, but only if she did exactly as he said.
