The Creative Publisher Texture Encryptor Version 2.18.8.1

The Texture Encryptor script is an optional accessory script for use with The Creative Publisher. It enables you to encrypt your texture UUIDs in order to prevent your publication's users from accessing your original textures. You can use the Texture Encryptor script in either of two different ways:

1. Drop the Texture Encryptor script into a completed publications containing !Page notecards with either unencrypted texture UUIDs or texture names (or a mix). Textures referenced by name must be in the publication's Contents. The Texture Encryptor script will list the encrypted texture UUIDs in private chat. Encrypted UUIDs will start and end with the dollar sign character ($). Each chat line will include the left and right encrypted page texture UUID and the name of the associated !Page notecard. For example:

2. Create any object (e.g. cube, etc.), drop in your textures, then drop in the Texture Encryptor script. The Texture Encryptor script will list the encrypted texture UUIDs in private chat. Encrypted UUIDs will start and end with the dollar sign character ($). Each line will include the texture name and encrypted texture UUID. For example:

Once you have the list of encrypted page texture UUIDs, copy them to the PageTextures= parameter line on the associated !Page notecards. Make sure you include the dollar signs ($) when copying encrypted page textures. When you use either encrypted or unencrypted texture UUIDs in your !Page notecards, you can remove the corresponding textures from the publication's Contents.

CAUTION: You must have full permission for your page textures in order to encrypt them.

CAUTION: You must be the original creator of !Page notecards that have encrypted texture UUIDs.
