In Norway the man often gave his lover this flora necklace just before he set sailed on a Viking ship
around the world. The girl then remembered her lover; kissing the necklace, whenever she dressed
in the morning and undressed at night. The necklace is usually worn hidden. Pink (Rose) and white
are traditional colours and symbolic as is the number three. The original tokens were enamalled and
flat to allow easier concealment.
