OPQ G04 is a series of basic gable roofs very similar to the G03 series but with a much narrower overhang, giving it a lovely chunky look. Since the overhang is determined by the position of the gables, the G04 roofs are only available with those included.
It would be relatively easy to make a roof like this with prims but even with a roof as simple as this, mesh has some significant advantages:
+ Adjustable angle *and* vertical edges on the sides (with a prim roof you can have one of these but not both)
+ Proper texture mapping on the gable side edges
+ Better texture mapping on the inside surface and the gables
+ Lower land impact
This version, the G04C 164-108-025-003, was originally made for a small 16x8 m two room cottage and it has and internal gable dividers at the center. It can be resized to fit any size you like but note that changing the length of the roof will also change the thickness of the gables (the default is 0.2 m)

The OPQ Roof G04C 164-108-025-003 is available in different editions with different permissions. This is the Builders' (copy/modify/transfer) Edition which means you have permission to:
+Use in Second Life as many modified and unmodified copies as you like for your own personal use and as parts of public and rental builds owned by you or a group where you are one of the owners.
+Keep as many copies as you like in your inventory
+Use it as part of builds you sell or give away as long as the permissions are set to *either* copy or transfer, *not* both.
You do not have permission to
