“Pathfinder” Terrain Exploration Vehicle from Exosphere

Once you have landed a mission team on a new sim, you can explore the surface terrain with these powerful rugged vehicles.

The "Pathfinder" can carry a small expert team of explorers out across your newly-discovered sim. It's a tough, three-seater, four-track vehicle with multiple poses for the crew. The large transparent dome opens and closed for access. Just use the arrow keys to steer, like your avi. As you drive, the four caterpillar tracks will roll. The faster you go, the faster they'll roll. If you put it in reverse, they'll roll backwards. The engine sounds as it starts up and while it's running. As the vehicle moves, you'll see plenty of fumes and smoke emitted from the rear. It’s equipped with several gears for traction and speed. You can turn the internal and external lights on or off in chat. You can adjust the driver and passenger pose positions through an interactive menu. Quick Guide.

Movement.
Press and hold down the arrow keys to move forwards or backwards or to steer left or right.

Camera.
Use your mousewheel while driving to zoom closer to the driver or to pull back for a higher view.

Canopy Dome
Touch the glass dome canopy to open or close it for entry.

Adjusting the Driver’s Seat.
Sit in the driver's seat and type /1 MENU. Then, use the adjustment buttons on the menu to nudge the pose into the position that's right for you.

Crew Seats.
The passenger seat poses (including standing poses) can be adjusted for position. Select "Adjust" from the pose selection menu and follow the instructions.

Gears.
Use PgUp and PgDn to select gears while driving. Use higher gears for traction and speed.

Lights.
You can control the lights by typing PATHFINDER LIGHTS ON or OFF in chat.

Security.
This vehicle is locked to the owner's DNA and won't start for anyone else.
