American Sign Language (A to Z) HUD
a friend mentioned that while deaf and hard of hearing people can type out their text in Second Life, signing is a much more meaningful intimate way to communicate. Perhaps even more immersive too.
It's like the difference between typing out an email to someone, or writing a letter with paper and ink.
I took on this project and was determined to get an accurate A to Z signing HUD made for not only people who are deaf or hard of hearing, but for anyone who cares to learn how to sign.
It's my plan to create additional HUDs that include common (and uncommon) phrases.
You get 2 Versions of this HUD. One is the standard signing HUD and the other ALSO texts what you sign into Nearby. Good for others to learn what you're signing.

Nice, but ya know...
Okay, it's very nice, -but-... Would be better to listen to Chat and transcribe to ASL from there. Add timed pauses for some of the punctuation, and you're golden I think. One-to-one for finger-spelling, seems doable. But I can see where there's lots of work in there, even just creating all the hand animations. Remarkable for the price, fer sure. Thanks!
