The Aven SX is a Shared Media device powered by MediaSL, a site that works as a media center tailored to improve navigation and synchronization within SecondLife, with features like:
◾ Importing files such as images, audio and video from imgur, flickr, google drive or dropbox albums.
◾ Third-Party support with applets such as YouTube, Twitch and Shoutcast. [¹]
◾ Adding bookmarks to your favorite sites. (Like your own Kosmi.io room!)
◾ Private Mode so that only residents who insert your custom PIN can see and hear what's on the screen. [²]
◾ Lock toggle that prevents anyone but the owner from controlling the device.
◾ Exclusive App mode setting to boot and lock the TV to a specific applet.
◾ Play your own audio streams without deed requirements.
◾ Togglable adult content through Settings.
◾ Customize your home screen with a variety of blendable colors, backgrounds and custom image / gif support.

The Aven SX features togglable mounts (stand, wall or none), togglable screen light emission and togglable media auto-focus mode. Please follow the instructions provided in order to assign yourself (or someone else) as the device's owner.

⚠ IMPORTANT: MediaSL relies on an "active-license" system. This allows the device to remain copyable / modifiable whilst preventing flooding, but please mind the limitations.
You may place as many devices as you'd like, but you can only have as many of them turned on simultaneously as the amount of licenses you own. The AVEN SX grants 2 licenses by default. Should you require to run more devices at the same time, additional licenses can be purchased at a lower price.

Useful apps gone
It was great when Pluto and other apps were available, now it's been gutted. Would love some transparency on as to why.
Even with the latest update
So, I'm reading these reviews and I sympathize, I really do. I really miss the old version where I could watch pluto TV and the other applets. But my understanding is that this has nothing to do with the creator, and everything to do with the crackdown on usage of these streaming services in SL. She's either protecting herself from legal action or has simply run out of workarounds. It's unfortunate. So far the best option seems to be bookmarking a Kosmi room link, but I don't think we will ever go back to how things were before. It's really sad because I tried opening pluto TV in the browser and it wouldn't work that way either. Not entirely sure why it will work in a normal browser but not on a prim. It is what it is though. I still love this TV, I still think it's well made with excellent texturing to make it look as realistic as possible, which is something that is important to me. It's probably only a matter of time before the other apps take a huge dump on the whole deal and also become useless. And it will more than likely still not be the creator's fault. Even if the TV gets completely bricked and we have to resort to bare-bones white screen MoaP with it, I will still love this TV just for the textures. I have yet to find one that compares in that regard.
Extremely limited
This runs a very limited version of youtube. I don't know if it's maybe because of the API or something but 9 times out of 10 what you want to watch on youtube, even when you literally see it on the desktop version of youtube, won't be available through this tv.
What happened?
This TV had it all, I could watch Pluto TV which made my weekends, I could play some classic games and yes even hentai, now all that's been stripped and no word from Arosani, If you're going to change what people paid for you could at least be transparent and explain why.
