The Ammah is deliberately simple in construction and to operate. ... perfect as a new ship captain trainer. With 25 hit points, the ship will take damage with the best of the medium ships, though it is very lightly armed with only three cannons. Even so, it handles well and speeds nearly as well as a sloop class ship it is based on.

Great starter ship (or a great only ship!)
This is a really great ship to try out and see if you want to spend money on something bigger and better armed. In fact, it's a great little ship in its own right. There are, at the moment anyway, regular battle competitions just for this ship.
It's a little different to handling the usual, modern style of yacht in SL, and great fun. I'm going to play with this one for a while and probably buy one with more cannons in the near future. This will still be a regular sail though.
With the whole structure being mod/copy it's easy to customise to make your own, individual ship too. That was the first thing I did! (just not the sails, I guess because those are changed by script using the UUID to set them).
