Animate on Sit Script Full Perms / Tutorial by Azn
Animate an avatar on sit.
Normally you need to have an animation in this prim, however there are some "internal" SL animations that can work by simply using the name, as I did here for this example. You can find a list of them online at: http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Internal_Animations
Animations have priority levels, which allow some animations to override others. For best results, turn off your animation overrider (AO).
Animations can be tricky, and I cannot teach you how to script in this tutorial. This script has been tested and works. If you do not appear to be animating, then you probably have a low priority animation. If you know how to script, then you will know how to add debugging lines to this script to see what is going on. If not, ask a friend or someone in a group, etc., to help you.
Put your animation in a prim with this script.
Set the Animation_Name variable to your animation name.
Set the Sit_Pos variable to an x, y, z position offset from this prim.
Set the Sit_Rotation variable to an x, y, z rotation offset from this prim.
Hit save on the script editor.
Sit on the object to start the animation. Stand to stop the animation.
You must save the script after adjusting the sit pos and rot and resit on the object to see the changes.
Use it in builds you sell. Please make it no mod. Please do not sell it as a script.
Thank you for your purchase. If you like the script, please leave a glowing review on the MP page where you bought it.
