This is a simple sci-fi scuba breather mask or gas mask, with a clear faceplate for protection from water, thin atmospheres, or toxic environments. The faceplate has an animated texture that simulates the wearer's breath fogging up the inside. It also has an optional bubble particle effect for when underwater/flying.
It also plays (quietly, so as not to be intrusive) a breathing or bubbling sound (your choice, or turn it off entirely).
The mask is compatible with the Mercy respirator, diving, or patient HUDs, providing oxygen and protection against gasses.
The mask has a limited supply of air (tracked on the respirator and diving HUDs, also viewable in the mask's menu) and must be refilled periodically from a refill tank (available separately).
