Builders Becon III (and yes, I spelled becon that way on purpose)
"Builders Army/Knife"
REZ IT, SIT ON IT, CLICK IT, PLAY
Dialog (menu) driven interface. OwnerOnly.
Drop one on each corner of the property... build at height without neighbors complaining that your SkyPalace is drifting into their space. At least thats how the thing got its start.
* Hey, you always could send particles into the air... so what gives?*
Emits a particle stream that climbs almost 300M. Change the color of the Becon, shut it on and off... new color. You can also adjust the colors in the menu..
* IT IS NOT A VEHICLE, But... *
Sit on it. It offers you controls. pgUp and pgDown will move up and down. The up arrow will move you EAST, down WEST, right to the SOUTH, and left to the NORTH. -OR- (while sitting on it) click the Becon. Select Heights. ground to "Top of the World". This is not intended as a vehicle, although people have flown all over the mainland with it.
* You can put your own textures on the beacon. *
Put textures in it, click Becon, textures and it brings up a list of the first 12 textures, or say /7 TextureName to set the texture of the beacon.(Case CoUnTs)
* You can use it as a rezzer. Put your objects in it, rez on command or click*
Put objects in it, click Becon, rez and it will bring up a list of objects. Select one and it will rez it in the same spot as the Becon. Also say /7 TheThing and it will rez it if it has it. (Case CoUnTs)
* Control the direction of the beacon *
You can set it to go north, east, south, west, up and down. You are fully responsible for making sure you are using these in a way that is not griefing.
* even "More" settings *
More has settings for size, rate, speed and range.
When you work with the menu, you work with only that Becon. When you use the /7 version of the command (anything in a menu) it works with ALL Becons in range.
Due to a wirdness in the script, it is recomended you do the north/east/etc AFTER you apply the More commands.
BONUS INCLUDED 2 textures.. ToMe and GOING (arrows that point with to/from the Becon)! Also a Becon specific version of PinPointer (simply makes those xyz coords simpler). If you plan on building off of my Simple Floor you should be aware I could show up as the creator of your thing. Better to make your OWN floor and put it in the Becon's rezzer.
Found this very usefully when I was building in the sky!!! Helps keep you over your own land! Even used it as a landing beacon for my airfield!
