Rezz the boat
sit in the driver's seat and click "yes" to the attachment prompt. The detail swap is seamless.

up arrow key to move forward
down arrow key to move back
the right arrow key: turns right
the left arrow key: turns left
the page up key : the page down key: Change throttle

Cruise
the up arrow key to start to move. The page up key : the page down key: Change throttle, the page down key to stop. the right arrow key to turn right the left arrow key to turn left ... you dont need ..to hold the up arrow key to move forward .. you have to stop the boat pressing page down taking the throttle to low and one more.
phantom/non-phantom. Good for getting under those low bridges and other tight spots. :)
Eject/ pick a avatar u want to eject from the boat.
Jump/just click left mouse button " When boat is moveing " and wow a jump"
Beacon/ you can set the beacon to send you a tex if you lose the boat, but dont worry you can copy.

How does the auto attachment work:
as u click yes to the attachment prompt the visible part of the boat attaches and the boat engine turns on. When you unsit, the attachment goes to your inventory and is renamed A-2 Expired Attachment. Delete Me', you can safely delete it from your inventory as it is unusseful. At the same time the boat skeleton will try to rezz a new boat ready to attach when you sit again, but if you are in a no-rezzing parcel it will fail, then you should remove the skeleton.
If you want to remove the skeleton as you leave the boat then just unattach it rater than unsit and the skeleton will be automatically removed.
