My friend had a interesting problem that could be solved with a script, but had issues finding the right script. She runs an event with other sellers. She asked them to each come up with a gift to be put in a gift giver set to a group that none of them had. So they couldn't set the group themselves. Sound easy? Well most all group giver scripts check the active tag for the same group of the LAND group and not her own group. After much thought (and much script mumbo jumbo)..we came up with this....
This group gift giver HUD system makes it easy for you to specify which group to check for regardless of land owner or land group rez requirements. Just make your custom made HUD (instructions and scripts included) and then add the desired group UUID to the description of your own group gift giver prim and add the gift giver script included!
IMPORTANT, both the HUD and group giver must be the same creator for this to work.
