DM Thurible (Censer) Set with Hud

For anyone interested in the beauty of ritual and traditions, the dark monks HUD controlled Thurible set is for you.
First of all its a great looking set sure to add beauty and gravitas to any altar. But far above all that is the complete functionality provided.

The deceptively simple HUD adds new layers to your practice or service, giving you the opportunity to enhance both your own experience as well as that of others. So lets get to it and give you some details on just how this works.

Before starting wear the HUD, the wear version of the Thurible and the book. Simply choose add from the inventory and they should pop nicely in to place for use. If desired the hud can now be moved to your chosen screen position.

Arrange the table and items as desired, perhaps looking at my arrangement to get an idea of how to capitalize on the layout. Once everything is in place you are ready to start. Clicking the + icon on the hud and your right hand now holds the Thurible and you will see the one on the table as disappeared. Of course you can see how this will promote a sense of realism during a service or ritual. (personally I think partially shielding the audience from viewing the transition by slightly blocking their view is quite effective). So now you are holding the thurible. Depending on your chosen process, you can either walk to the altar, or begin incensing. Clicking the "S" button starts the smoke and at the same time begins the lesser swing.. This is often useful especially if needing to walk a short distance or to appear to be getting things going. At any time now you may choose also to add the codex (book) to the visual appeal by clicking the "B" button. the book appears, and while animated, does not interfere with incensing, providing a visually powerful and well coordinated presence. Pressing the "L" button now introduces the greater swing and you will be able to trace great arcs of fine smoke adding the final dramatic touch .

With a bit of practice, it will all become seamless and exciting to watch..

When finished, simply walk over to the table and click the "-" button. The smoke stops and the table version of the Thurible reappears. At any time you may also click the "X" key to hide the book and stop its animations as well.

This Mesh and Prim product is the culmination of a great deal of thought and effort. Given certain SL based limitations I feel this is a beautiful accommodation, mixing the power of ritual within the confines of the environment.
