Solid, sturdy, dependable.
It's kind of funny, but a high-quality canvas is just as important to work with to sell your art in SL, as it is in rl. Darwinism does the trick with this great set of canvases. I've used them for all of my work so far, only deviating when I need another canvas with an elaborate frame around it.
The shadowmap is great. Canvas texture on the front should be applied yourself if you're pasting your art onto the primary face. Painty textures go a long way to help with this.
I recommend these for any artist who wants to sell their paintings in SL. These won't let you down.

Yes, you DO have to do a bit of work in Photoshop or GIMP, but it's totally worth it. You'd have to do the same with most mesh, anyway! Please don't let the bad review turn you away - try this item for yourself. You'll be happy with the results.

It's just what I needed. I used the shadow layers and just applied them over my work in Photoshop. A small amount of work for something that adds so much 3 dimensional depth to your art.
no use for artists
The frame looks great until you apply a texture. You have to work to edit your picture to fit on the front but it will wrap around and show on the back, upside down. Not useful for artist displaying professional work.
