Once displayed in a fisherman’s lodge, this eerie trophy carries the weight of old sea tales. Its unsettling grin and chilling history make it a perfect piece for collectors of maritime relics and vintage nautical decor.
History :
Caught in 1949, this shark was hauled in by fishermen near the deep waters off Blackwater Bay. Those who saw it claimed its grin was too wide, too human—like it knew something they didn’t. The crew mounted it as a prize, but strange things followed. One by one, the men who caught it either vanished or refused to speak of that night again.
Over time, the trophy made its way into private collections, but the old engraving on the back remains:
"Property of Blackwater Fisheries. If found, return to dock."
No one ever did.
