This full perm mesh GPS is 1.0LI and includes a GPS script (the script is modifiable in this version). This GPS can be worn as a HUD or quickly linked to a vehicle which faces in any direction.
This also includes the original texture(s) to be used as an example to make new ones should you choose to do so.
USING AS A HUD:
Find the GPS in inventory and add it to your avatar, you will see it at the top/middle portion of your screen as a HUD.
LINKING THE GPS TO YOUR VEHICLE:
1. Rez the "GPS" object included in this folder. Do not rename it.
2. Place the GPS on the vehicle where you would like it to be seen.
3. Right-click and edit the GPS first, then hold shift and left-click the vehicle. Both the GPS and vehicle should be selected. Make sure to select the GPS first!
4. Press Ctrl+L to link the GPS to the vehicle.
Note: You may remove the script from inside the GPS and place it in the root prim (or any other prim) of the vehicle if you wish and it will still work.
USING THE GPS:
This GPS has 2 different modes of operation , North Up and Scrolling Mode, as well as settings for icon size, map zooming, and display brightness, and a clock.
Mode:
Touch this button to change the GPS operation from a North Up to a Scrolling Mode (Heading Up)
Zoom:
Touch this to change the map zoom level.
Disp:
Touch this to change the display brightness to the desired level.
Icon:
Touch this to change the size of the vehicle icon
TERMS OF USE:
You may use this Mesh GPS and the GPS script in your creations but may not transfer it to any other avatar with Copy AND Transfer permissions set, you must set one OR the other.
You MUST NOT distribute the included script to any other avatar with MODIFY YES permissions.
