This easy-to-use HUD will give you perfect control of a kitties emotions. You can choose from over 20 purring, meowing, growling and hissing sounds to let your friends (or also enemies) know your current mood very precisely. Of course you can combine the sounds with any number of customized chat messages, simply use the prepared ones already stored into the system, or of course also disable them completely.
In addition to that, you can also interact and emote all these moods to any avatar near you, by picking their name from a simple drop-down menu. That can be handy if you want to purr or hiss at a specific person and have their name mentioned in the chat message. For chat purposes the HUD can either use your full name, your first name, your display name, or a custom name independent from your actual Second Life® one.
The purring duration can be changed and even set to infinite mode, so you can purr as long you want and feel to. For more variation, the HUD can optionally use a random sound for each action. You can also control features like the sound volume and switch facial expressions on or off.
When not in use, the HUD can be minimized to a compact mode, so you can keep it attached without interference on your screen.
Useful information
----------------------------
Just wear the HUD and it will be attached to the screen center from where you can adjust it's position as desired, using the Second Life® building menu (right click > edit).
To start an emote, simply hit the corresponding button inside the speech balloon. If you want to interact the mood with someone, click the small '@' buttons and pick an avatar from the drop-down menu.
To change the current sound for each mood, simply click the small numbers to the very left and the HUD will toggle through available sounds. 'R' means that the random sound option is active.
If you want to customize the chat messages, please edit the corresponding notecards (for example '.chat-meow') from the HUD's contents. You can save any number of entries in each notecard, they will be picked for chat randomly. To disable the chat functions, choose the corresponding option from the settings menu.
When in infinite purring mode, you can stop the purring sound by clicking the red 'X' on the HUD.
Click the main cat image to show or hide the HUD. To open the settings menu, just click the '...' button.

I'm confused
I absolutely love this hud.
Is there a version 2? The mp picture says V2 but the contents tab has nothing in it that says V2 or VAnything. If so, when did it come out? Can I get a redilivery since I have had this hud for at least 9 years? The hud itself in my inventory doesn't suggest that its anything higher than the original version. It would be nice to be able to acquire the second version if there is one.
This dun cut it no more
Need to lower price or raise quality of sounds or both. Also perms borked on attach requesting animation :o

I wish I could control what it said each time I direct an emote to someone. For example, if I select my friend to purr at and I am standing outside of her cage in RP, and the emote says, "Snuggles up to "my pet" and purrs, when snuggling is not possible....well, you see what I mean? Overall it does work well, which is why I give 4 stars.
Where to start...
My biggest issue is the Growl sounds aren't even CAT sounds. It sounds like someone lowered the pitch of someone snoring.
There's only one purr I really like that loops well without grating on the ears. At least two of the meows are clearly human.
The Hissing sounds are actually okay, maybe a little over the top sometimes!
All in all, if you just want to make sounds close to what a cat makes, go ahead.
If you're an actual feral cat looking for sounds to Rp with, this might not be for you.
:) thank you
awesome sounds and simple to install to your needs, a hud every kitty/neko/furry needs
AWESOME x3
I really tried out many gestures and stuff and never got hapy with them.
But then i got that hud and welll.... *-*
