Thank you for your interest in the front gate of the Sancta Catherina series. I do hope that it will be helpful in your building projects.

If you need help on how to handle UV and ambient occlusion maps and since I had quite a bit of demand for it, two youtube detailed tutorials have been made for your convenience.

If you would purchase your comment is always very much appreciated.

Underneath the Li of of the elements, for the specified size. Mind that adding scripts and or animations can have a impact on the land impact count.

LAND IMPACT INCREASE OR DECREASE DEPENDING THE SIZE: counted without the additional script, X,Y,Z is for the approximative max value for specified Li
ref land impact size X size Y size Z
M0846 4.553 2.064 0.289 4.087 5 texture faces
M0847 4.356 2.005 0.274 4.087 3 texture faces
M0848 1.197 4.259 0.206 5.596 2 texture faces

Included in the box sample versions with a none alpha, "closed version" of the ambient occlusion.
If you apply AO's in Photoshop or Gimp it is strongly recommended to use the alpha AO Map (no black lines)

Also included in each box
9 1024*1024 ambient occlusion maps (3 alpha = no black lines when applied), versions: open, close and exploded
3 1024*1024 UV maps - made in such way that you have a minimum trouble to make you're items seamless
1 normal map for the lion head
1 specularity map
Please note that you get 1024*1024 maps so that you can work with the best possible detail. To upload it is recommended to reduce the scale of the textures and test what gives the best result for you.

This item is made with a LOD setting of your viewer of 4.
To be able to see the effect of the normal map, for Firestorm:
preferences -> Graphics -> general -> check Advanced lighting Model
Ambient occlusion can be checked too though there is a risk that your FPS (frames per second) will severely go down.

It is better not to go beyond LOD4 level, first of all grids don't use it.

This is the first mesh element where I used normal maps.
These bump maps can be initialized under

edit -> texture -> Texture diffuse change to Bumpiness (normal) and apply this texture as you normally do for any texture
tangent normal maps have are those textures with a bluish violet tint

same system counts for specularity maps
specularity maps are always black and white
This mesh has been made to be used with UV maps. You easily can apply textures the "traditional" way. If you use a graphic program to apply the occlusion maps it is recommended to use the alpha version.

Doors good - frame bad
full star full star full star empty star empty star Posted September 23, 2023 by ArikTheRed

I have used the doors for a long time and they're neat.

But I had not used the frame since I bought the kit, and couldn't remember why until now. I pulled it up today and remember now. For whatever reason, the frame is solid - the physics prevent passing through it - set to convex hull or prim.

Still, the doors are cool.
