Exorcism - an Exosphere Holodeck Scene

Note. You need to own the Exosphere Holodeck before you can install this scene.

Demonic possession... Evil spirits... Manifestations... Time to call for the Exorcist. (that’s you!)

This dark, feature-filled Exosphere Holodeck scene has you entering the classic Exorcist house and performing an exorcism to expel the forces of darkness. There's plenty of poses and animations for you to use - you can be the priest or the helpless possessed victim. But once the exorcism begins, prepare for the worse because the Dominions of Evil will throw everything they have at you! Grasping claws, unholy creatures, the flames of Hellfire, hideous faces and demons from the very depths of damnation are just a few of the terrors that await you.

Don't believe me? Take a look at the photos and see some for yourself!

Can you succeed in performing the exorcism before it's too late? Or will you be dragged screaming, down into the Pit by the Evil One himself? Great for Halloween or themed parties.

Don’t forget to bring your camera to get some photographic evidence.

Features include:
- Immersive role-play
- Mansion courtyard, library, bedroom and attic
- Demons, phantoms, evil spirits...
- Animated faces and animesh creatures...
- YOU say the words to control the manifestations
- Call up multiple simultaneous manifestations
- Run outside, screaming, while you still can.

This Holodeck scene contains the outside courtyard, the house, lower and upper floors and even an attic. It also has animesh creatures, particle effects with eerie lights and sounds. Everything you see in the photos is included, apart from the victim and the priest avatars.

The Courtyard.
You can sense something isn't right when you arrive. There's a putrid fog rising up from the flagstones and a eerie light shining down from an upstairs window. Is that something moving around in the fog? There's a large door to your right. Touch it to open it then go into the house. They're expecting you.

Downstairs Rooms.
Pass through to the lounge of the mansion. You can sit on the sofa and settee but be careful what you touch. At the rear, you'll see a library and desk, with a staircase leading up the the upper bedroom. Some pages are scattered on the floor... it looks like someone was trying to find something in a hurry. You’d better go up the stairs and find out what’s happening.

The Upstairs Bedroom.
This is where the manifestations take place. It looks quite normal. At the foot of the bed there’s some old books on a table. Touch one of the book pages to see a list of holy words you can use in the exorcism. Every time you say one of the words, you will unleash a manifestation from the Evil One.

The Manifestations.
Prepare to experience manifestations of pouncing demons, floating spirits, raging hellfires, evil animated faces, lashing tenticles, invisible creatures, and other hideous things too terrible to even describe. They will appear before you but will vanish back into the depths of the underworld after about a minute. There's a dozen evil manifestations that you can call up... But there's one extra manifestation that is too terrible to contemplate. The secret is in the book on the table!

The Attic.
Look up. See that trapdoor in the bedroom ceiling? Touch the trapdoor to swing it open, then touch the ladder to extend it. Climb up the ladder to enter the attic. Plenty of old boxes and sheets... Wait, did you see something move over in that dark corner? There's a bloodstained sheet on the floor by the attic window. Whatever you do, don't touch it or you may open the door for something from beyond to enter into this world...

Poses and animations
Touch the bed to use the built-in poses and animations for the unfortunate possessed victim. It's all here, spasms, levitation, shaking, floating... and of course, the infamous rotating spinning head. Touch the table by the bed to use the priest's animations for performing the gesticulations and actions for the exorcism. All the sets of poses and animations are menu-driven and can be adjusted for various sized avatars.

Everything in the holodeck scene is removed instantly by selecting “CLEAR” from the Holodeck menu. The build is a blend of mesh, prims, sculpties and animesh, giving a total land impact of a 125.

Note: Everything you see in the photos is included in the holodeck scene, except for the priests and the girl. (but we're always open to offers...)

P.S. If you have any problems, please contact the creator, Brenda Hoisin, before you leave any negative comments so we have a chance to fix things for you.
