Infinity Freight Cabover Semi Truck & Box Trailer
-----------------------------------------------------------------

Try the DEMO in-world.

This truck is fully compatible with the Infinity Freight Conventional Semi Truck and all the trailers, so operates in a very similar manner. The Cabover is a bit shorter and so has different handling and radial offsets. Both trucks and all trailers remain completely interchangeable.

This truck has been designed to deliver bulk goods to the far corners of the SL road network. Full custom scripting allows you to link and unlink articulated trailers to the truck using the built-in coupling menu.
A unique trailer-driving experience!

Other trailer systems use follower scripts, which can often lose the trailer on simcrossings, This trailer will never get left behind, and that is guaranteed :)

It is also designed from the start with the GTFO! game in mind. 'Get The Freight Out!' is an exploring delivery game, where your truck/train/boat/plane/heli is loaded with goods and you are given a delivery destination to take it to. If you like to explore new places, you will love GTFO! There is also a free version of GTFO available to try before you buy, just look on the marketplace for GTFO! or check the vendors at the Infinity Freight warehouse Satellite <197,57,31>

GTFO ratings and load time may change in future when their new database goes online.
As SL scripted link/de-link requires owner permission, there is not currently a way to 'guest'.

SL accounts that purchase this truck are licensed to use the included textures to create commercial 'paint kits' if they wish.

INCLUDES : a free Starter Edition of a Heterocera Atoll continent map HUD I make. This shows an up-to-date road map of all the linked road systems on Infinity Freight's home continent :)
The full version is now available, which adds full maps of Sansara continent as well, plus custom map marking options to help navigation, roads, rez zones, and primary navigable waterways. If you drive the other continents, my ECN (eastern continental navigator) HUD does a similar thing for those areas. See my other MP listings for more details.

'Prim Count' :
Land impact truck and trailer : 66 LI

Permissions :
Mesh is mod/copy.
Scripts are copy only.

Check my other listings for extra trailers.
More alternate trailers coming soon!

Best Vehicle, PERIOD
full star full star full star full star full star Posted December 03, 2018 by Alyona Su

I have lots of vehicles and after playing with Bandit and Rattle-trap boats and Kelly Shergood Helicopters I have become really spoiled! I want *quality* - not just in the modeling and textures, but also very much in how they handle, how they drive.

My first Infinity product was the Freight Train (totally sold me on SLRR!) and the quality amazed me, so I thought I'd give the Flatbed Truck a go. OH. WOW.

So I've been saving up for this one and finally: I have it and I *love* it - top-shelf all the way: The modeling, the textures (and so EASY to customize), and o-man: the way it drives. Not only is it an awesome truck and trailer combination, but the way it drives: OMG.

And at a mid-range price? Don't let that fool you: I call it under-priced. Get it while you can. You abso-fekking-lutely will not be disappointed.

Best Semi and Trailer on the Grid

I wasn't sure I really needed another truck but after demoing this I had to get one. It actually looks like a real semi when it turns and the simulated articulated trailer is a very neat bit of scripting. Since it's linked, everything crosses sims very well. The coupling and decoupling system is pretty cool as well. Backing up is a challenge, but I'd imagine it is in a real semi as well.

Awesome truck!

This truck has such great detail, and in GTFO operates wonderfully. Having driven an actual 18 wheeler myself in RL, the backing in this build can be compared to the real thing (frustrations included with small turn ratio areas lol). I love the ability to mod and to drive through areas and get "those looks", as well as so many compliments on what an awesome build this truck represents. Great job Atomic!!!

Amazing

No jittery trailer looking like it's coupled by a rubber band, as with other road vehicles this truck (with ot without the trailer) drives the way all SL vehicles should drive! The modeling (and especially the LOD) and textures are absolutely beautiful.

Fo role-play or just jaunting around SL roads, this thing is a genuine pleasure to drive. You cannot go wrong with it. Furthermore: it's modifiable, which is always a major consideration when purchasing vehicles of any type. Three thumbs up for this.It is definitely a head-turner as you go by along SL's roadways.

Realistic and good sim crossings

Nothing else beats this for realism with a detachable, swappable trailer that bends (and can even jackknife) as you turn, forward and backing. Handles steep grades well. Not too heavy on scripts, it crosses region boundaries better than most other vehicles and can be retextured with your own logo and trailer art. My first choice for GTFO! land delilveries.

The things it doesn't have or do, while nice in theory, would add to the script weight enough that I'm happy to do without: Lights, Radio, Trailer up/down articulation
