Misleading
Despite the other reviews, I decided to purchase this because: rapid and fiery look are exactly what I was looking for, since I'm trying to build a combat scene.
However, upon receiving it, I realize how misleading this product is.
It looks absolutely nothing like the image that is advertised, and the only way I could say it would resemble that night sky is if you were to take the flat textures and never animate them. That advertisement is very clearly just a still image without the actual product in effect.
Beyond that, I know fully what is going on with this product. I have a script that allows me to animate textures so they play on a loop, allowing me to create lava effects, rivers, etc. It's a freebie script that is very easy to come across, and this product makes use of it. The texture itself is just a shooting star image that repeats into the shooting star again without any kind of pause, just like how the river script works.
So basically, this product is a freebie script thrown into some mesh cylinders with a texture.
It's a real shame. I love a lot of the other products offered by this store, but this item is a swing and a miss. The value here doesn't match the price we're being charged.
IT CAN BE FIXED! It won't be a perfect fix, but if you're relying on the river script to get this effect, the best solutions would be to:
A) Create a transparent brick behind the line of the shooting star. That at least allows for some pause between effects so it's not just one constant non-stop line.
B) Slow down the effect a little, or make it something the user can configure. Even on the river script I use, I can change a number in the script to reduce the speed of the river (or whatever texture I'm animating).
I hope, after this feedback, this product gets an update and makes the purchase price more reasonable. Until then, this is a waste of L$.
Far too fast
These are rapid fire fast, there needs to be a pause in between rotations of the texture but there really isn't. It's like someone firing a laser beam more than a shooting star.

These are really nice, truly, but they are way too fast - they "shoot" every second with no pause in between, so it's more like a pulsing beam of light.
