School Bus - Warning Lights, Stop Sign, Turn Signals. Bi-Fold Door and More! Version 7.0

Few jobs call for as many skills as school bus driver. They must be alert, careful and well trained drivers. They must concentrate on driving responsibilities while also serving as a helpful and patient student guide, counselor and social facilitator for highly active student passengers.

Driver sits in original driver animation made specifically for this bus, and four passengers sit each in a different animation. All positions can be adjusted with AVsitter menu. Bus is scaled for most avatars, but you can easily rescale it using my rescale menu. Touch Lark logo near engine hood for rescale menu.

Use motion controls to steer and page up/down to change speed. Key "low" or "normal" or "high" in chat to set reverse speed. A message in chat confirms each change in gear selection. Use open chat or /7 private chat for chat commands.

Larsson "Active Steering" algorithm adjusts handling of bus to speed you have selected. When you change gear speeds bus accurately tells you in private chat (1) the gear speed, (2) the m/s speed, and (3) coefficient for active steering.

As driver sits you hear engine start-up and idle. You will also see engine exhaust begin and end automatically as driver is seated and stands. Key "start" and "stop" to control engine on/off.

Bus has cruise control. Key "hold" or "release" for cruise control at speed you select.

Three follower views. When you first sit you see a view behind school bus. To select other views key "v1" for a view just behind bus, "v2" for a nice view just behind driver, and "v3" for driver's view of road ahead.

Headlights work with SL advanced lighting. Activate advanced lighting in graphics tab of your viewer preferences to see this feature. Touch yellow button on dashboard to turn lights on/off. There is an electronic confirmation sound when you touch button. White back-up lights blink when you are in reverse. Red brake lights turn on when stop sign arm is activated.

Key "b" in chat or /7 chat to hear a friendly "beep beep" which may prove useful if you see residents standing in road ahead or are late for bus.

There are three steps to pick up passengers: (1) school bus driver touches stop sign to extend stop sign arm and (2) touch to open the authentic bi-fold school bus doors. Then (3) passengers must look inside and sit on one of four passenger seats.

Step (1): You manually touch STOP sign on left side of bus to extend sign for safety loading passengers. Touch yellow stop sign pad on side of bus to retract sign. For real school bus authenticity overhead amber and red warning lights in front and back begin to flash brightly on and off when stop sign arm is extended. Flashing lights turn off when stop sign returns to side of bus.

Step (2): Touch right side panel of authentic bi-fold school bus doors and two door panels open accordion style just like real school bus. Touch again to close. Even easier, key "open" or "close" in chat to operate doors along with a public chat comment to "watch your step entering and departing."

Step (3): Passengers must look inside and sit on one of four classic school bus passenger seats. Remember... the cool passengers sit in back. Each of the passenger seat has a different animation and all are adjustable using AVsitter.

Five license plates are already loaded and you can touch plate to select with menu. There is also an invisible plate if you don't want a license plate. You can easily insert your own license plate. There is a sample plate texture in box to assist you in making your own plate texture. Command-edit license plate on bus then drop your texture into contents tab placing it with textures already inside. Then touch plate again to see on-screen menu. Your new plate texture will be shown on menu with name you gave it. Note: keep your texture (1024 x 512) name short so entire name will show on menu button.

Bus body and internal textures are both PBR and conventional BH. Bus is sold only in classic "cheese yellow" color and is copy only. Land weight is 46.

Now you can take all your "student" friends along for a school trip or a school picnic!
