Gun, cover sandbags in place i READ the instructions this time (my bad) love the sond and how the gun works gonna give a 5*
It looks pretty good.
Overall, this weapon is outstanding in detail, you could probably see something alike it in most newer games hitting the market, it's that pretty. The downside is, there is a lot of waste on the model itself leading to a nice 55 prims. If you're only putting this out as something that looks pretty to fill up spare prims, then go for it. If you're putting it to practical use or have a small limit, this is not for you. There is no reason something like this should be so heavy on resources.
As for the features, all of them are pretty solid; I adore how you can customize your emplacements with sandbags and camouflage. though I do wish it had the ability to change the positions of the sandbags (To save space, for example).
Technical aspects aside, this is a gun, so how does it shoot? The answer is well. It has decent effects in all aspects other than sound (We'll get back on that later.) With lighting and shell effects, I'm a huge fan of the level of immersion this would provide if the sound was off - if you had a few of these firing at one time, no-one would dare attempt to cross your line. As for the sounds, it is pretty terrible in that aspect - It seems the creator has used the same sounds as the model beforehand. That wouldn't really be a problem, however it is muffled and weak, as if it was a generic sound from a free sfx website - This should be easy to fix in future updates, but as of this review, it's really a problem.
Overall, I would recommend this in the hopes it will be updated, along with the quality of the model. I wouldn't justify the L$1950 pricetag, but it's shinyness makes up for the flaws.
