This is the free demo version of the MLCC Oceanic sailboat.
See item in Second LifeThank you for everything, Motor Loon!
Thank you for making so many wonderful vehicles. You will not be forgotten.
This boat is amazing, and it has to be experienced.
Thank you
For everything you contributed to the grid.
Rest in peace.
I like so much
I'm just a newbie of sailing. I tryed a pair of sailboats till now and I can say that this one is not suggested as first sailboat.
It's really nice, very good texture, very well made, but the several commands can confuse newbies.
Helm is very sensitive and is very easy to make wrong turns, need some practice.
Love the spinnaker.
Love the possibility to change all the texture with mines, even if need some skill in editing.
As soon as I have some linden in the pocket I'll buy this beautiful Oceanic: it's the best sailboat I tryed til now.
Best demo in Second Life - I wish the Loon had a demo, too
A fully functional boat that never expires... and what a boat it is! Aside from the "this is a demo" hover text, you can do everything on this boat from sailing by yourself, to entertaining a group of friends, without limitations or the boat expiring. Try if for a day, a week, or a month. No, it doesn't have a HUD, but it's pretty simple to operate by typing a simple number in chat for wind speed or direction. I wish the Loon had a demo.
Thank You Mr Loon!!!
I already own 3 of his motorcycles to begin with so you can say I am familiar with Motor Loons work. I still consider them the best riding bikes ever created in SL and I have ridden a lot of them! So when I saw he was making boats I was curious.
When I saw he offered a demo, I thought what the hell, and got it. I have a love affair with this boat. From its very realistic handling, to the B Wind display on the mast, the diesel motor that sounds like a diesel and of course the rocking of the boat when you simply drop the sails and skip the mooring and anchoring (the realistic anchor is awesome.).
Yes I have sailed the Bandit, and the Ushuaia, and the Pacha and etc.... They are nice and yes they have cuddles and sex, but there is just something about the way the Oceanic sails.
Not to mention it does not POOF after a few minutes!
So thank you again Motor Loon for creating another fantastic Sl experience and for being so generous in delivering it in a fully functioning Demo!
So Mr Loon, I will be saving up for a non-demo version and if you might consider it...a few cuddle poses would make for a nice update.
Thanks!
