What did I buy?
It is apparent these stairs were made for childrens use, they are extremely small and it is extremely hard to get the banisters and molding to match up once you have stretched them to fit for a normal person. This is a very high price to pay for a product that you have to do so much work too in order for it to fit your needs.
Another great build...
Great work. Another brilliant item to make my life easier. Thanks a million!!
Beautiful mesh
The stairs are gorgeous, well made perfect. Putting them together isn't super easy snip snap. However it was not hard for me, I am a experienced builder however. I think honestly it is well worth the price.
Great - but.
These are truly lovely stairs. Very detailed, easy to retexture and obvious you get a tons of options to customize them to fit your build. The many parts may seem overwhelming for a newcomer or someone not used to building but as long as you got the basic knowledge of how to snap an object to the SL grid, then these stairs are easy to work with. You just need to be patience since stitching the parts together takes more than ½ minute. For the looks, user-friendliness and everything else I’ll give 5 stars.
But … there is a but. As advertised they do snap to the SL grid like for example the amazing wall kit from this store. But if you (like me) assume that the stairs will then match up with the walls with ease, you are in for a disappointment.
See most of my building kits from other stores usually snap to a 125 grid. The walls kits from Zimberlab snap to a 0.50 grid and that’s all good since 125 and 0.50 works together. However these stairs snaps to an odd 0.30 grid and thus don’t match up with the Zimberlab walls or pretty much every other kits I’ve played with. Yes you can build your staircase in roughly the height you need it to be and then try to scale it in place. But with the assumingly user-friendliness compromised, I sadly have to deduct one star.
I am a beginner builder...
For me it was very hard to assemble a lot of work.. and the ready made ones r very small...i wish there was more samples with more realistic to make it less work for us..
