Resizable.
Easy Snap to Grid system allowing fast and accurate building. (Basic SL building skills required)
This kit includes 4 sets of parts:
Steps
Banisters
Landings
Skirtboards
Land Impact 0.5 for most parts.
Resizing does not change Land Impact (within reasonable limits).
Includes:
- Wall models
- AO shadow maps providing basic shading.
- SPEC shininess maps for Advanced Lightning reflections.
- UV maps to use as reference for texturing.
Remark :
Basic size is minimum and Snaps to Grid. (3-tread step = 1.1 x 1.0 x 0.5 m)
Resizing should be done AFTER assembling the stairs. See Video part 3 on how to approach this.
Packaging is no transfer. All content comes with full permissions.

General Info:
- This product is packed in a Provider which has buttons for each different section. Touch a button to get a folder with the content. A button's content can also be accessed by 'Edit Linked' and dragging it into the inventory.
- All our products are designed for regular texture mapping. Planar mapping may not render correctly on certain parts (BUG-4066).

I am a beginner builder...
For me it was very hard to assemble a lot of work.. and the ready made ones r very small...i wish there was more samples with more realistic to make it less work for us..

the design is great but since they are very small for some kind of building, resizing them is a huge problem for the prim count i will try to replace some parts of the stairs with sculpt to reduce that but its such a shame since i think those are one of the best if not the only design that would look realistic once its textured
Seriously, You dont own this set?
Yes for some of us we tend to make the stairs in this kit large and prim hoggish, but with the quality and amount of pieces the stairs have virtually endless possibilities. DZ makes the AOs in a manner that most every element needed is covered by its own UV and AO, texturing these can be a nightmare for some (because texturing can be work) but for the serious builder these are a must have. Most realistic in shape and with the UV maps they can be in textures as well.
This was the first item I bought from Doctor Zimberman (ZimberLab) and I was pleased, well worth the price. Now I own many things including the walls and windows to mention a few.

To get it how i needed it i ended up with over 200 prims for an average size but looks great.
Awesome Stairs
These are fantastic ... a lil primy but fantastic, all things considered. My only real complaint is they seem small in the kit and making them bigger is a lot of work.. I dont think this set if for the beginner builder. But there are some good examples in the box.
