These robust gadget tools are easy to pick up and they get the job done.

"Paint" any object using the Edit/Build tool as usual.
Save the paint with the Paint Designer Save paint button.
Paints are applied with the built-in menu, TouchSpot hud, or script API.

Pick which prims/faces to save in the paint.
Include Blinn-Phong, PBR, or both.
Supports all Blinn-Phong and PBR face parameters.
Parameters are gathered from the prim faces.
Paints are saved in the link set data of the object.
And it's fun!

Limits:
50 paints per object.
300 unique texture UUIDs per object.
100 prims per object.
8 sides per prim.
Paints approx. 20-40 sides per second.

No other license is needed

Use textures with both copy and transfer permissions.
UUIDs are read from the prim's faces, encrypted, and hidden in pass phrase protected link set data.
You won't be bogged down with UUID's and notecards.
The only thing you have to type is new paint names.
You need full permissions for the objects to save paints.
Once the paints have been saved object and item permissions have no effect on Object Painter.
