The Illiastra "Playable Conch" is so simple to use, you and your friends will be enjoying some homespun music in no time. So gather up your seaside friends, lure the sailors, and draw those ships upon the reef!
Not only can you play your own notes and songs on it, but it comes with numerous examples to get you started. Easily share your compositions with your friends in simple text notation.
All you really need to do is "add" it to yourself-- the left hand is recommended. Once you've done that, you'll be able to click it and get a menu.
Tunes...
=====
This is a list of simple tunes to get you started. You'll find them listed and scored in the ".Tunes.cfg" file in the contents tab of the conch itself. Simply "Edit" the conch and find the "Contents" tab. Under that, you'll see a number of things listed. Double-click on the ".Tunes.cfg" and follow the directions. Add or delete songs at your leisure. If you come up with something amazing, send me the ".Tunes.cfg" file so I can enjoy it, too!
"Free Play..."
========
This is a simple way to play notes on the conch directly. Just press the right note and you should see and hear your avatar play it!
It's COPY/MOD!
============
You will find that you can easily change the colors and textures of the pan pipes-- as well as scale it! I encourage you to do so-- and send me pictures of the results!
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the way Second Life plays animations on the hands and face, finger placement will only be approximate. Also, you may need to scale/move/rotate the conch so it matches up to your face properly when you play it. Based on your avatar's build, you have the choice of using the "thin" or "broad" version of the included AO to help you line the instrument up with your mouth.
The AO included with the conch is priority 4.
- This product is MOD, with four materials to modify (pipes, struts)
- Write your own songs to a notecard to easy playback.
- Perfect for performers, musicians, and cosplayers
- Scale, rotate, and move the pan pipes to conform to almost any avatar
- Hands animate (Priority 4) for each note!
