Version 6 now comes with 2 flavours for the Spot Lamp:
1. Ambient light only (1 LI)
2. Ambient light and projector light (2 LI)
OVERVIEW
● On/off switch, adjustable brightness (dimmer)
● Choice of 9 light colours (clear white, soft white, blue white, blue, red, green, orange, pink, yellow)
● [NEW] Directional/focus/projector light. Ambient light and projector light can be separately turned on/off
● The ceiling mount and rod is a separate link from the lamp housing, so the angle where the lamp is pointing can be adjusted.
INSTRUCTIONS

1. To access the Ambient Light menu, touch the lamp housing.
- Use the ON/OFF button to turn the light on or off
- Use the (+) and (-) buttons to change the intensity/radius of illumination
- Click on colour buttons to change the light colour
2. To turn on/off the Projector Light, touch the ceiling mount or the invisible root prim which sits over the lens. (Press Ctrl-Alt-T to see invisible objects).
- The colour of the Projector Light and intensity is automatically synchronised to the colour selected in the Ambient Light menu
- The direction of the Projection Light is determined by the rotation of the invisible root prim. Edit the root prim's rotation to change direction of the Projector Light

The latest version of this spotlight is very interesting. In addition to the ambient light version, it also has a spotlight version. Very good.
Wonderful lighting option! I love it!
Low prim, good looking lamp at a really affordable price. Not so much a spotlight as a floodlight. Basic editing skills (edit linked) allow you to aim the light in any direction keeping the base mounted. The hud allows you to turn it on and off...change the color of the light...set the intensity of the light. Only one land impact each. I love this lamp and use it all over.

it wasn't for me but it's not a bad quality lamp.
The creator was kind enough to reach out to me and share insights into the Lamp. I have other spot lights that do focus into a spot but this wasn't designed that way and there's nothing wrong with that. I was really just hoping to lower my Prim / Land Impact count on my Sim.
The creator helped me understand that the light can adjust on the base which is great because it wasn't obvious how to do that but it's definitely able to.
And yes it is technically a Spot Light but it's not really a "spot" style light that I was needing for photography and that's okay. I do appreciate the creator reaching out to me and doing it without being upset about things. I really do appreciate that.
This product is so great, I don't know how to put it into words!
I don't think I've ever written a review, but I just HAD to after getting this light. OMG! The designer's description almost doesn't really convey how great this thing is. It is all in one piece and there is no intallation. You can put it on any wall and you can float it in the air! The lens turns every direction, at your command, and one simple click brings up the simple, super easy to understand menu. Nine color, and brighter or dimmer. Could it be any easier? I dont think so! And please note that on most other lights, the color choices are HORRIBLY bright and hideous. These colors are as tasteful and beautiful as a Monet oil painting! My house went from plain to something people ask about : How did you get that effect???? And best of all, you buy ONE light, and can create as many as you want from the original. IF YOU DON'T BUY THIS LAMP, YOU HAVE TO BE CRAZY. It is one of the greatest things I ever bought on SL, honestly. Thank you with all my heart to the intelligent and thoughtful and aesthetically gifted designer who came up with this. You really did change my life--the option are now unlimited. If I ever meet you, I'm going to hug you. Brilliant work. No exaggeration.
I like these lamps
The lights are a great price, they were low prim, and they are scripted, I looked at a lot of other lamps, and most were 44 prims, and some were not even scripted, plus these lights have several colors for the light, and you can set the radius that the light will light up..............I am happy with my purchase...TY
