The idea of this little texturing project came to head not long ago. Was looking for a little boat in sl which would be possible to sail on SL waters and possible to change textures... as wanted to make it look as African fishing boat or close to it.
This little Sjogin boat was a great find for such an idea. Wanted to make it look OLD, WEATHERED, RUSTY, AGED to give to the boat old experienced SOUL. Used African symbolism and colors to express more feelings of the south-east.
⚓ ALL that you NEED to DO now is:
1. Rezz near the boat your unpacked object (Can). (Most wise would be to use COPY of the boat).
2. Then click the boat and pick up from the menu > LOAD TEXTURE.
YES, in one little click it should change, then just check for the peace of mind > RAISE PORT, RAISE STARB.
What will change:
sails= one aged light sail with hanging bikini and some clothes on rope plus one small very colorful sail.
mast= dark grey wood.
hull= ornamental heavy wood boards, dirty, rusty, old paint on sides, hippy ornaments on two lines from both sides. Top - light sand color aged wood boards.
inside= orange pillows, grey floor.
If happens that you don't like any part of the boat how it changed and you want a less active whole look, then simply stand in EDIT mode of the boat>linked parts>select textures>texture face and from the creator's original folder drag texture of that part which you want to get back. All rest should stay as you just applied.
Some items that you see on add photos as a fishing net, pets, boxes or any other details are not included in this box, but you can easily LINK with SJOGIN-boat any objects that you want - for your visual pleasure or any other idea of yours Express your love for sailing and the boat :) or Yourself.
