[SLC] Scrubber / Reset Everything Script (Multi-Prim)

Greetings and thank you for your interest in this product!

Use the "[SLC] Scrubber / Reset Everything Script (Multi-Prim)" to reset the parameters of a prim or linkset.

There is a free version that works on a single prim (see link below).

USAGE

Single Prim (unlinked object):

1) Right-click the prim to be scrubbed and select Edit.
2) Select Contents tab.
3) Drag "[LD] Scrubber / Reset Everything Script (Multi-Prim)" into the prim's inventory.
4) A menu will open.
You can now close the Edit window.
5) Select any extra options for resetting (see below).
If you cancel the operation at this point, the script removes itself and nothing else happens.
6) Press Start button.
7) Wait a few seconds and... done! The script will delete itself when its work is done.

Multi-Prim Object (linkset):

1) Right-click the object to be scrubbed and select Edit.
2) Select Contents tab.
3) Drag "[LD] Scrubber / Reset Everything Script (Multi-Prim)" into the inventory of the object's root prim.
4) A menu will open.
You can now close the Edit window.
5) Select any extra options for resetting (see below).
If you cancel the operation at this point, the script removes itself and nothing else happens.
6) Press Start button.
7) Wait a few seconds while the script is sent to all other prims of the object (you get a confirmation message when this operation is finished).
8) Take the object back to your inventory and then rez it again.
9) Edit the object and set scripts to Running state (See FAQ if you don't know how to do this).
10) Wait a few seconds while the scripts scrub the object.
11) When the work is finished you get a confirmation message and all scripts remove themselves.

NOTE

Granted, this procedure is annoying but it is a limitation of the Linden Scripting Language and there is no way to make it simpler at this point. However, the script will guide you through the process so that you don't have to memorize the steps.

- vehicle flags
- buoyancy
- force & torque
- light
- volume detect
- collision filter
- force mouselook
- pass collisions
- pass touches
- remote script access pin
- click action
- damage
- event delay
- object status attributes

The script will also:

- scan linked prims (optional)
- delete prim's contents (optional)
- change textures, offsets, scales, alpha (optional)
- change object's name & description (optional)

STORING THE SCRIPT

In order to store the script in a prim (as in a Inventory Manager or similar) and prevent it from self deleting use one of the following methods:

• Change the prim's name to "Old Scripts" (without quotes)
• Change the prim's name to "Script Container" (without quotes)
• Add "[Boxed]" (without quotes) to any name. E.g.: My Scripts [Boxed]
