Thank you for purchasing this very useful, scanner model.
What it does?
This scanner allows you to monitor/debug a range of 50000 private chat channels in SL simultaneously.
It is very useful for monitoring and/or debugging your script creations that send text messages within a sim.
How it works?
Rezz it to the ground. Right click and edit the object description with the lower channel number to listen within 50000 channels range.
For example, if your device(s) send(s) messages in channel -55000, then write that number into the description and click the scanner to start.
In that case the range will be -55000 ~ -5000
You can also set the channel range lower limit by clicking the scanner and selecting the button in menu. Found messages are redirected to you. Channels numbers where the scanner found any message are being stored temporarily so its possible to quickly stop listening that channel by clicking the menu entry.
Warning:
-This device opens 50000 listens at the same time. It is recommended to stop or unrezz it after use it.
-SL doesn't let the listeners to survive after sim restarts nor sim crossings. In those cases you will need to stop and start the device again in order to set the listeners again.
