The Baseball is mod property This mean you can edit with standard SL tools to resize and position in your head.
If you wear the hat your normal hair will detach, you can wear then the included hair to avoid the bald appearence, or instead wear just select ADD to the hat, then this will not detach your normal hair, but you will need to adapt size and position of the hat.
