TD Scuba Instructor SDS

***By purchasing this item you agree and are required to set the permissions for the student dive computers to (no copy, no mod, trans) before handing them out. Not doing so is a violation of this purchase agreement and the linden labs TOS***

**If using TDGridcast, the system will automatically transmit to the linked Spyglass when the stream is started.** (Blue Light indicates transmitting)

Allows you to monitor your student(s) dive computer data and change dive parameters in real time!

Files will include 10 student dive computers, one instructor dive computer and the SDS HUD (Student computers are numbered 1 through 10).
***Never give out 2 of the same number student computer on any dive as it will corrupt the data stream.***

How to use:

Once you are ready to use the system, locate the files and double click the Instructor HUD and Instructor Computer to attach them.
***The Instructor computer will sync with the HUD, but not stream data and is a full unrestricted computer***
***Student computers are one use items and are restricted to changing display brightness and gas O2 percentage for deco dives only***

Give a student dive computers to all divers in your group, that are diving. (MAX 10 DIVERS)
Have everyone attach the dive computers and stand close to you. (SYSTEM HAS A 10 METER MAX SYNC RANGE)
when ready to sync the computers, click the top of the HUD (where the dive flag is) and the menu will open.
Click "Reset" (ALWAYS DO THIS FIRST), the student computers and yours will confirm reset in local
Click "Sync". You should now see the divers names on your HUD and get sync confirmation from everyone in local.
At this point you are ready to dive and all student computer options are now available.
Click Stream/Start - Starts the data stream from the students computers to the HUD.
Go Dive!

Menu Options:
Reset - Resets the instructor HUD, the instructors and the student dive computers to prepare them for syncing.
Sync - Tells all the computers within 10 meters to communicate only on your uniquely generated comm frequency (same as pairing ear buds)

***The below options will only work once the divers computer is synced to the HUD***

Stream - Starts the data stream from the students computers to the HUD. (It is normal to see "No Data or Surface" when on the surface)
Time - Allows you to set the gas duration for all the divers (20, 40, 60 minutes)
Gas - Allows you to set the gas O2 percentage for all the divers (21%, 32%, 50%, 80%)(always best to use 21% to start, higher % once in deco)
Speed - Allows you to adjust the swim speed of all the divers (Slow, Med, Fast) **Fast speed is normal swim speed**
Units - Allows you to adjust the measurement used on all the divers computers (Feet, Meters, PSI, BAR)

Once synced all of the options can be changed in real time, will take effect immediately and stream the updated data to the HUD

To end a dive:
There are two ways you can end a dive;
1. Just allow everyone to surface and shut down the stream or detach the HUD.
2. Just before the divers leave the water, shut down the stream and all their data will be preserved in the HUD until it is removed or reset.

The Student Dive computers:
You can hand them out as many times as you need, they are (Copy, Trans), however they are a one use item and must be set to no mod, no copy before.
Remaining air, max depth and dive time data from the previous dive will be displayed on the screen until the next dive. (for easy logging)
Once the diver detaches the computer, it is disabled and cannot be used again.
So if you want to do a second dive, don't let the divers detach the computers or they will need a new one and re-sync will be required.
