Use the hud "D2 HUD 0.5" so your camera is in a better position, and have a view around.
Mouse-steer only works on mouselook, sorry.

This car has an auto-brake system, after being 5 seconds stopped it takes the physics out of the car, so the physics come back is just press "Page Up / Page Down" or "E/C".
