The Be-Bar is a hotbar for Second Life. It's unique in that it takes up very little screen real estate, can be resized at will, and is incredibly expandable. It has 10 banks of 10 buttons for a total of 100 actions that can be placed on the Be-Bar.
The pictures listed to the left represent the actual Be-Bar as you would see it on the screen. Each icon on the bar represents an action you can perform. The Be-Bar comes with a bunch of neato actions right out of the box, ranging from the useful to the simply fun, but the real power of the Be-Bar is the infinite expandability! Anyone can create an action for the Be-Bar.
You can create "automatic actions" by just dropping sounds, landmarks and animations into the Be-Bar, or you can use our free development kit to build more complex actions with scripting. Just about anything can be tied to an action, your imagination is the only limit.
We welcome everyone to build their own actions for the Be-Bar and share them, or even sell them to fellow residents.
The Be-Bar is also very configurable. You can position it anywhere on the screen, either horizontal or vertical. You can change the sound effects, the text settings, resize it at will, and it comes with a bunch of pre-set gestures that you can use to tie the function keys of your keyboard to the actions on the bar.
The Be-Bar...easy to use, functional and fun, and only L$99.
garbage
dead no help no way to add buttons or anything waste of money
Be ware the price listed is not the price charged!
Sure it looks like this item will sell for L$99 but when the purchase is made the charged amount turns out to be L$1,000 ... User Manual does not open and the buttons make no sense without one as the are only pictures and quite small. You may wish to find another place to be swindled.
old school item
This item has been around for a long time and I'm guessing the builders r not updating it. Hence, the heavy script demands. But I can't find any other hotbar that works half as well.
Does what it says, but watch out..
It's expensive on sim resources. 68 scripts, all seemingly mono. And thats when bought new. 3.84MB.
It does what it says it will, for that, I'm scoring it 5. Minus 2 for ouch value. I have complicated collar scripts using less. But, it's slick to use.
Never Recieved
Item never received. Two support tickets submitted with no response.
A good, solid product that works as advertised :)
.. which isn't necessarily a given.. lol.. this is such a useful tool and so well priced that I bought one for two of my friends... I think that says it all, really
