The Concorde is a civilian supersonic plane built by The french Sud-aviation (now Aerospaciale) and the british British Aircraft corp. (now British aerospace). It's one of the 2 civilian supersonics that have been built (the other is the soviet Tupolev TU-144 - also called Concordski). The commercial speed was Mach 2.02 up to 18,000 meters hight. It had a modified alpha wing and was the first to have an electric flying commands. It began to fly in 1976 to stop in 2003.
The Concorde GBOAD was unique as it was shared by both companies British Airways and Singapor Airlines and so, get the colors of both on each sides.
The Concorde is a symbol of the aeronotic.
