The Gates of Argonath or The Pillars of Kings, is a monument comprising two enormous statues carved in the likenesses of Isildur and Anárion, standing upon either side of the River Anduin at the northern approach to Nen Hithoel. It marked the northern border of Gondor.

To quote the first reviewer:

'Also, had one issue when getting to maximum size, the left statue expands and does not grow taller, so it begins to get "fat".'

You would think that after over a year, this problem would have been fixed.

Still, amazing statues as long as you don't want to resize them.

Great Detail, highly recommended

If you need the Argonath for your Lord of Rings Sim, this is an excellent set of statues. The detail is very good. Also, there are 2 versions in this purchase, one with higher level of detail that is solid and can be seen with no degradation when further away. The regular one has less detail and parts of the statue disappear, like the helms when moving further away. Highly recommend the higher LOD one. Also, had one issue when getting to maximum size, the left statue expands and does not grow taller, so it begins to get "fat". If you want them at maximum size just stop increasing size on the left before it gets fat, and increase the right statue to match height. Just something to keep in mind, and is my only issue for improvement.

Good up close

They look great up close but if you go two feet away the lod factor rips details from them.
