The Triple Labs FULL, PRO, and GWS (Grid Wide Security) Security Systems are legacy products that have had a rich history. They continue to fill a niche in SL security needs, and are well known for their flexibility and reliability. If the limitations of 96m maximum coverage for each orb and the requirement of the use of the last name of "Resident" for single name avatars does not bother you, then you will find these systems have versatility and flexibility that no other systems in SL can match. I've been considering security systems for a while now and have tried several, ranging from freebies to somewhat pricy ones. Some have been easy to set up, some miserably difficult. The biggest drawback to all of them has been how they define the protected zone: spheres. Unless you're protecting an entire parcel/sim, that protected area is a sphere.
Then I stumbled across Triple Labs.
They offer four products, one a straight-up, inexpensive orb (the CODE BLUE Security Orb) with the other three being the "good/better/best" of a security system (Triple Labs Security System; Full/Pro/Grid-Wide). It looked as if that would work as I wanted but, as it was at the higher end for a security system, I wanted to verify that before buying. So I messaged the creator--who was offline when I did--my questions. Much to my surprise, less than 10 minutes later I got a reply. Customer service continued to be a pleasure throughout the purchase and setting up.
Yes, it does use square/rectangular zonal areas. You can also define "L" shapes, "U" shapes...it doesn't have to be just a quadrangle. And the notecard system offers versatility and flexibility that needs to be seen to believe. No, the Triple Labs Security System is not "Plug-and-Play"; it also isn't multidimensional differential calculus. If you need a security system that can be precisely tailored to *your* needs and specifications, then the Triple Labs Security System is a must-have!

Best I have ever used. I opened a group only venue on a 1/4 sim and needed a public landing place. but could not sub-parcel the land. This system worked great to allow me to configure the system around that area. Yes, it took a few minutes to set up, but the time was well worth it. I would give this more stars if I could.

It just works
I needed security, and came upon this system. Bought it and it's just perfect, not a single problem or issue. Easy to understand and set up too, yet with many options.
I speak French with a bad English as you will see, and I took about 20 minutes to install this system with 4 sensors on a skyplatform of half sim wide on 250 meters of altitude, and except a few tiny little detail that I corrected with the help of the support group very efficient and helpful and Triple himself, the system works perfectly, I am very happy of it, we are never alone with our tool, we can always find answers to our questions.
je parle français avec un mauvais anglais comme vous allez le voir, et j'ai mis environ 20 minutes à installer ce système avec 4 détecteurs sur une plate-forme dans le ciel d'un demi sim de large sur 250 mètres de dénivelé, et à part quelques tout petits détails que j'ai peu corriger grâce au groupe d'aide très efficace et serviable ainsi qu'à Triple lui-même, le système fonctionne parfaitement, j'en suis très content, on n'est jamais seul avec votre outil de sécurité, on trouve toujours des réponses à nos questions.
Very scalable and very configurable. Some of the best documentation too. Only needed a little advice from friendly people in the group chat, and I had a system running across an entire island placed, activated, and tested, within just a few hours! More configuration options than anything I've ever worked with, and easy to use.
